If you are a Starbucks customer there is no reason for you to not have this card. You're going to buy Starbucks anyway so why not use a registered Starbucks gift card to buy it?! The easiest way to earn you drink points is to:
- Buy a Starbucks gift card (in-store, online, grocery store, etc.)
- Log-on to https://www.starbucks.com/card#0 to register your card. If you do not already have an account you will need to create one.
- Use your registered Starbucks card anytime you buy coffee at your local Starbucks.
- Reload your card often in-store or online. I prefer to start each transaction by adding a little money to my card before I order my drink. It is important that you always use your registered card to buy your drink in order to receive points towards a FREE drink.
Some of the perks of having a registered Starbucks gift card include:
- If your card is ever lost or stolen you can protect your balance and request a new card
- You receive a FREE drink after every 15 registered drink purchases. Your free drink card will arrive by mail. If you're buying multiple drinks I suggest doing different transactions, because your points are calculated per transaction, not per drink.
- Free flavor syrups, soy milk, refills on coffee and tea.
- Tons of great coupons by mail and email.
- A free drink on your birthday!

**If you live in the South, I suggest using your Kroger Plus Card to buy Starbucks gift cards and then transfer the balance to your registered Starbucks card. You generally earn 2x the value towards your Fuel Points, and right now you earn 4x the value. That means if you buy a $25 Starbucks gift card and Kroger right now, you will earn 100 fuel points which equals 10 cents off a gallon when you fill-up!
