UPDATE:

I went to Arby's today to get dinner for my boyfriend.  The cashier seemed puzzled by how to ring up the coupon.  He then went to get the Shift Manager, and she also wasn't sure how to deduct the free sandwich.  After a minute or two she figured it out.  The cost of this deal came to $3.47
